Maybe you’ve ordered a book, paid the P&P, waited for days until it arrives? The internet and the e-book has ended all that, which allows the reader to make their own choice, from hundreds of thousand of books, then downloaded them instantly. E-readers to help the planet... There is little doubt that the millions of books sold via the Internet direct into e-readers must mean the contribution to saving the earth’s resources as significant. Soon the book, as we know it, will be finished. You don’t believe it? Remember the sceptics that believed computers wouldn’t take over our lives? They have and everyday they take that little bit more! Book shops below a thousand... Whether you applaud, or despair, the demise of the paper back, there’s no denying that the e-reader has taken the book market by storm. The reality is, like the mobile did to the telephone, the e-reader is doing the same to the book market. Recent reports suggest that book shops in the UK are now below a thousand and still dropping. E-Readers cut out the rip off publishers... With the arrival of the e-reader the rip off publishing market is very nearly laid to rest. Writers have at last a platform they wanted to show the world that there are writers out their beyond the celebrity and the elite few who dominate the market. Now writers are moving to embrace this new opportunity. Keith’s News 12,000 Book Sales... This year to date has seen sales of over twelve thousand. So with the New Year already showing a marked increase in sales, the e-book market is proving it’s worth. My best selling books set among traffickers are streaming out the door and with the sequel to Unit T Special Forces, Goin... Goin... Sold, already on release, I’m very excited.
